TWU announces identity theft alert
Texas Woman's University is
notifying about 15,000 students that
their personal data has been exposed
to potential identity theft.
University officials said last week
that the exposed records contained
the names, addresses and Social
Security numbers of every student
enrolled at the Denton, Dallas and
Houston campuses in 2005.

Internet for six weeks this fall,
school officials have announced.
UVSC leaders said college files with
information on these students and
faculty were accessed and made
available on Yahoo between Nov. 2
and Dec. 12, putting them at risk of
